What’s Happened This Year!

Now that the month of Modness has ended, it’s time for a recap of what has happened since last year. This year we have had a total of 37 event’s up and down the UK, and for the first time ever an event in Tenerife. Eight of this year’s events SOLD OUT.

The thirty seven event’s cumulate into a total of 352 hours of music, with 171 Bands and 156 Dj’s taking part. This year we have raised £87,000 which by the time this has had the additional fundraising added by Barclays Bank will take us to over £100,000. As we keep saying none of this is possible without everyone’s co-operation, without everyone who is involved giving their time and effort for free. We are very grateful to everyone who has made this year’s total happen, from the venues and staff, to the bands, Dj’s and people who attend from all over the UK.

This will mean since our first 17 event’s in 2013 we will have raised A QUARTER OF A MILLION POUNDS in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Causing A SceneIn February this year we launched our double compilation albumCausing A Scene‘, which is still available as a download for anyone who missed the opportunity of a CD. The album launch was held at The Borderline, London and the album has received some amazing feedback and great reviews.

In March of this year, we also launched our T-shirt’s for both Men (Large, XLarge and XXLarge) and Ladies, (Medium/Large). These T-shirts were on sale at all 37 event’s, but fear not if you missed out on a t-shirt or where not able to attend an event this year, we have limited number of both Men’s and Ladies online for sale. If you purchase a T-shirt or the album download, you will already be contributing to 2016’s total.

We now have over 5,000 people who like our Facebook page and over 6,000 followers on twitter.

A massive thank you to everyone who makes March of the Mods, the success it is.
