March of the Mods – Our Second Year

Since our first year of events in 2013, we have grown in size and the amount raised, we have had celebrities attend our events and take part in them. We have launched our website, made a #MOTMs DVD including bands that took part in last year’s events, as well as this year’s, which you can still get a copy of, with all proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust.
March of the Mods became registered as copyright, we had the launch of our official logo and also our official logo for Merchandise.

This year saw 29 events being held up and down the United Kingdom, starting in Liverpool on 28th February and ending in Tamworth on 30th March. It was a total of 260 hours music, provided by 141 bands and 88 Dj’s. With the help of all the organisers, venues, bands, dj’s, sound engineers and people that attended we raised a total of £64,392 for Teenage Cancer Trust. Barclays Bank is yet to make their contribution to this figure.

In June of this year we have the cheque presentation to Teenage Cancer Trust with a charity ball that is being organised and hosted by Barclays Bank at The Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool.
The charity ball is an opportunity for all organisers, bands, Dj’s and people that have attended our events to get together and celebrate how much we have all raised together.
All are welcome, as the proceeds from this event also go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

And for 2015 there are already 36 towns/cities organising/hosting an event for March of the Mods in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. Each event is organised and hosted by either individuals or groups of people. Everyone involved with March of the Mods gives their time, energy and commitment for nothing.
